A downloadable game for Windows

Intergalactic Way Station is an upcoming 'slice of life' sim, and a project I'm using to get my legs underneath me in Godot. All of the art and logic is mine, hand-drawn and hand-written in Aseprite, Resprite (on my phone), and Godot.

The long-term goal for this is to have procedurally-generated worlds that you can use the ship to warp to, where you can fight aliens, befriend aliens, level up, gear up, and gather supplies for your Way Station.

I'd like to let you manage the Station in day-to-day operations, decorate it, interact with the different alien visitors and the economy of the town (and maybe the wider galaxy down the road?), and ultimately provide a 'slice of life' from the perspective of an alien way stop along the intergalactic highway.

Alas, at the moment, what's here is just a framework. You can float around the way station and the small town center, save and load your game, and... that's about it.

Since I wrote this at the end of January, I've read through the Stormlight Archives and Mistborn in my free time, as well as contending with birthdays and the many other facets of daily life that stole my immediate attention. I lost a lot of motivation to work on this in the meantime, and I'm hoping that by uploading it here, and taking the time to interact with the code just a bit, I'll recapture some of that motivation I had in January. Wish me luck!

Cheers!
